Who’s ready for all the spring inspiration to roll in? If you ask me, I am more than prepared for all things and everything spring related, especially after the completion of a very special styled shoot. This Tuesday I put together a fun soirée to provide you with inspiration for your Easter gathering this Spring. So dive in, be prepared to pin away and admire the result of what can come from a team of talented creatives. Putting together these styled shoots has fueled my creative fire and shown me what great things can come from creatives acting as a community, rather than competing. Enjoy!

How to Put Together a Drink Bar:
Every spring soirée this season needs two things: a drink bar and a baby’s breath install! This install was honestly the star of the show. It had everyone in awe and I’m still sitting here, as I type, daydreaming about it… Consider supporting your favorite local florist this spring by asking them to re-create this beauty. To give the baby’s breath extra spring flair, the talented team over at Green Sinner spray painted it a light pink. I think it adds the perfect touch to it!
For the remainder of the drink bar, I laid out an assortment of depression era cocktail glasses, curtesy of Vintage Alley Rentals. I love how the mis-matched look adds varying heights but yet all the glasses coordinate. These beauties were laid out on an antique mirror tray and complimented by an acrylic menu written by Rachkay Calligraphy. I get the sense that baby’s breath is coming back in a big way, so I asked Rachel to incorporate a lot of beautiful drawings of the dainty flower through the menu and invitation suite.
Pro tip: Writing your menu on acrylic creates a fun, modern element to any gathering. (And it just so happens that this is a trending element, this year!) You can find ones like ours on Etsy, or contact Rachel to make your own custom menu with her.
The Drink Served //
We served a grapefruit + fresh rosemary spritzer. It’s a very simple yet refreshing drink to recreate, so I can’t recommend it enough! All it requires is vodka or gin (depending on your preference), club soda, grapefruit juice and a sprig of fresh rosemary. Instead of leaving out the bottles that the juice and soda come in, I opted to display it in a carafe. It looks better presentation wise, and is zero waste! We love a zero waste gathering. 😉
