When I first started blogging, I dedicated my content almost exclusively to fashion. With one year of blogging under my belt and a rebrand, I’m so excited to expand my content. As apart of this expansion, I’m going to be tackling a little interior decorating here and there. And besides, who doesn’t love a little decorating inspiration anyway? // Before we dive into todays post, I just want to state that all thoughts and opinions within this post are my own. //
Assuming at this point your space is in need of a little reworking, allow me to help! The best way to rework a room quickly and on a budget, is with removable wallpaper! The way I recommend doing it? Choose one wall in your room to put the wallpaper on. That wall, is going to be your statement wall! By only decorating the single wall, it doesn’t over power or clutter the room. It simply acts as a way to add a little extra interest to your room! To make this little project seamless and easy, I’m recommending you use removable wallpaper. I used the blossom wallpaper in my room from Rocky Mountain Decals. All you have to do when applying the wallpaper is peel off the paper from underneath and hang it on the wall! Rocky Mountain Decals also makes it even more easy because they number each piece of wallpaper so you can easily hang up each piece in order. My dad helped me hang it up and said it was the easiest wallpaper process he’s ever gone through!
If you’re looking for wallpaper, I firmly believe Rocky Mountain Decals is the way to go. It makes the whole wallpaper process a lot less intimidating! I’ll be the first to admit home improvements aren’t my forte, which is why a product that provides a seamless process is so important to me! Like I said, the process is very simple. Here are the steps, one by one:
Step One:
Pick a wallpaper pattern, my favorites are the blossom , cactus and snowy rose wallpaper. If you’d rather try something on a smaller scale, they also sell wall decals. These are always a great subtle option.
Step Two:
Then, lay out all of the pieces which are already numbered for your convenience! Talk about thinking of everything you could possibly need, am I right?
Step Three:
Once you know the order, simply peel the paper underneath from each piece and carefully hang it up! You’ll find there’s a little pink tool included, that can be used to smooth over any bubbles that may form on the wall, underneath the wallpaper. From there it’s a quick process of hanging each strip of paper, side by side!
Well, that concludes todays post! Hopefully you like the results of my new wallpaper just as much as I do. Honestly though, I keep looking at my room and letting it all sink in. I just really think adding a statement wall was the finishing piece my room needed to tie it all together. So now I’m going to give you the floor and ask, what do you think? Are you considering revamping your room with some new wallpaper? And how about Rocky Mountain Decals, do they not sell the cutest wallpaper prints? I’m genuinely obsessed with this lovely business. If not, what decorating changes are you hoping to make around your home/apartment? With spring finally here it feels like the perfect time to make these changes! I can’t wait to chat with you guys in the comments on how you’ll be redecorating!
