Where do I start with this one?! Jamie + Luke could not have had a more special, beautiful wedding day at The Harper. When I first met with Jamie for our consultation, I knew she was going to be so fun and a joy to work with. The inspiration she brought to me could not have been more beautiful! We had plans to bring a warm, analogous color palette of rusts, burnt oranges, terracotta, beige and subtle hints of peach to life. To accent this color palette we brought in retro elements with 70’s type signage, table numbers, and to top it all off, a large floral disco ball installation- our favorite part!
Mackenzie, of Mack and Main, was instrumental in ensuring all design and logistical details worked together seamlessly. See for yourself how everything came together, below!
Jamie’s dress was a stunning strapless with lace detailing from Luxe Redux Bridal, a bridal shop in Pittsburgh, PA. She also had a great beauty team with Christy of Simply Captivating Salon for her bridal hair and Tricia Corona for her makeup look.
We are still daydreaming in the floral studio about this bridal bouquet. Not only do we love the warm, nuanced fall color palette, but the abundance of dried AND fresh textures. It feels like the perfect elevated look for a November wedding. And this vibe goes together with The Harper seamlessly, meshing with its modern, minimalist interiors.
How stunning is this detail shot by Taylor Ollason Photo?! We can’t sing her praises enough for how amazing the detail shots and gallery as a whole turned out.
While Jamie & Luke’s original plan was to have their ceremony outside in The Harper’s outdoor venue space, the snow had other plans. With the weather requiring a new plan, we moved the ceremony indoors, and flipped the room after the ceremony during cocktail hour. It ended up being a win-win scenario though, because the dance floor disco ball installation got more time to shine on their wedding day! And, their portraits outside with the snow falling could not have been more sweet and MAGICAL.
A huge thank you to the talented vendor team that helped make this day so special + turn out beautiful. I cannot recommend each and every one of these vendors enough.
